First, I'd like to thank PGV for hosting last night's forum. It was a great idea and a very good exercise. I would echo his sentiment in wanting the concept to continue.

I think we learned some lessons last night that could be applied to future forums and I'd be interested in your input to improve them.

One of the problems that became evident was a lack of control. It wasn't a failure of PVG, it is just inherent in the technology. We had two or three conversations going at once at different times. Would it be better if the moderator called on folks to respond? The down side that I see is it could hinder open dialogue or spontaneous ideas. The moderator could also miss someone.

Perhaps have independent conversations utilize the PM system rather than respond to each other on the forum?

What are your thoughts on ways to improve?

I really like the idea,Rick, but this is one time I think an actual chat would be in order, for this purpose only though.I agree,I think pvg did an awesome job with it.

I'm all for another forum... I had a tough time last night keeping up with everyone, my typing skills didn't help. Maybe more detailed initial postings would give everyone and the moderator a better idea of what everyone is thinking.
