Just got Back From a Trip to Jacksonville .And Came Home With a Load Of New Woods
Went a Bit Crazy on 2 Of the Woods Due to them Being On Sale 1/2 off
Purple Heart (5)3/4x3/24 Planks And
Red Cumara(3)3/4x3/24 (1)3/4x5x24 Planks
American Cedar(Aromatic)
Ambrosia,Maple
Chechen
Lignum Vitae,Argen.
Burmese Blackwood
Orange Osage
Tasmaian Black Wood (40% 0ff)
E.Ind.Rosewood
And Last But Not Least a 6 Pack of Mixed Hardwoods 3 Exotic and 3 Domestic

Also Got Me Some New Sanding Belts and Even Picked Up Some Knife Kits And I Got them On Sale The Sale On them Will Not Be for another 2 Weeks Can't Beat it 9.99 a Blade

And While I Was there I Hit Tandy and Picked Up Some More Dyes (Clearanced)and another Craftsmen Oak Tooling Side

So I Got a Nice Little Pack Of Stuff to Keep Me Busy.

She Was Picking Out Small Blocks But they Were Comming Out to Be In the $45.00 to $60.00 Range and I Was Looking at the $8.00 to $20.00 Range
She Was Picking Out Olive Wood/Cocobolo/Wenge Woods But In Board and Plank Size

Looks like you got a good haul. I have a neighbor who is the middle school shop teacher. He told me he would give me a bunch of their scraps (which involves a lot of small pieces of exotic hard woods), because he just throws them away. I need to take him up on the offer.

I'd Take Him Up On His Offer ,I Have a Cabinet Maker Down the Road From Me .But He's Not Working Making Cabinets Now Due to the People Wanting Chap Stuff Made Or Buying Direct. But He Said He'll Keep Me In mind When He Make Something . He's Givien Me Some Pices In the Past And I Have Made Him a Knife for the Wood Useing Some of the Wood He's Given Me.

Remember that many exotic woods are very toxic. Wear your dust mask.
