Hi there everyone,

Looks like the knife section is hoppin' tonight.

A while back I posted an in-process picture of a knife I call 'Deco Noir'. It recently got some attention and is pretty much finished:

I really like the double bolster look, but it's sure a bunch of fiddly fitting.

On the razor front, I've made a bunch of what I call 'Faux Kamisori' or KamiSorta, Japanese-style razors.

Now I'm back to making a batch of HartSteel/Baxter of California 'Not A Replica' razors....
Google Image Search for 'Not A Replica' Razors (http://www.google.com/search?q=not+a+replica&hl=en&safe=off&prmd=imvns&source=lnms&tbm=isch&ei=ev9XT4r0FqXKsQKU4cWwDQ&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&cd=2&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=600)

Have a great evening all,
Bruce

That's truly a beautiful knife, BG. Love the lines and the simplicity. Reminds me of a classic Jaguar.
The name is right on the money, too.

You do some very nice work. Sadly, I can remember when that knife design was the rage back in the .... oh, never mind, doesn't matter. But nice work.

What kind of handle do you put on your razors. You've shown a number of blades but I don't think I've seen a finished one.

The Japanese-ish razors get a cord wrapped handle. The production razors that are my 'day job' are scaled with black plastic handles, that another HartSteel guy makes:

He makes a bunch of wood scales too:

And some faux ivory and faux mother-of-pearl:

I make a few 'specialty' razors for HartSteel, and I make handles of various woods and other materials:
