Has anyone grown watercress in the backyard in a container? If so any tips would be helpful. Thanks

OK here is what I was thinking. Take a 5 gal jug the type you take camping and fill with water and has a spout on the bottom. Cut the top off fill with water. Buy watercress at the store. Put in water. Watercress does not like stagnet water. Everymorning open spout and water something else in the garden. Then fill back up with fresh water. What do you guys think?

...........
...........I've recently considered growing watercress in my Aquaponics operation....
Tho I think perhaps the method you're considering might be alittle troublesome to me,
I certainly don't think it unworthy experimentally...And if you're like me, you won't
hesitate to experiment...My tap'water is treated with floride and chlorine which may
be worth note, so, you may want to allow your replacement water 24 hours of open
air time to allow these gases to escape before application.....luck w/it............BH51..
