I am huge fan of the tropical rainforests. I like to read about them, bought a series from the BBC about the continents and my favourite parts are about the jungles near the Equator. I think rainforests are the most interesting and important parts of the world. My #1 dream is the Amazon rainforest. Unfortunately I have not been in any of them but I would like to visit them before I die.

Do you have any jungle experience? Are here anybody with the same interests? I'd like to learn more about these parts of the world from you.

I have no experience in the jungle, my experience is mostly in the swamp, followed by the desert. I do find them fascinating and would like to experience one someday.

You need to talk to Jay and Pict. Pict has not been on for quite a while. You can visit his YouTube channel at

http://www.youtube.com/user/Colhane

You can probably get in touch with him there.

Jay is in Sri Lanka and Pict is in Brazil. We have some others on here as well but those two have posted quite a bit about their time in the jungle.

Still I have experience just under European (continental) circumstances. But rainforests, I'm coming! :tank:

Northern forests for me, don't think I could handle the heat in the tropics. Not to mention way too many bugs and snakes.
