View Full Version : Put Nell In Your Thoughts And Prayers

Several years ago Nell suffered a neck injury. It has progressively gotten worse to the point where she needs to do something about it. She is consulting with a doctor this coming week to schedule surgery. Please put her in your thoughts and prayers.

Hope all goes well Nell and that you have a speedy recovery.

Hoosiers. We are Hoosiers. Know one knows what a Hoosier is but that's what we are.

I had a talk with Karma this afternoon and there is a heavy does coming around your way along with a couple of buckets of good vibes. Fingers and toes crossed and prayers sent.

So after a fall out with my first surgeon,The surgery is now planned for the 20th,over night stay in the hospital if all goes well,and off work for 3 months. They will take out a collapsed disc,shave off 2 that were protruding into my spinal chord,and open a nerve pathway that is almost closed off and not allowing the nerve to move,then place a cage in my neck with a bone graft.

The reason I had a fallout with the first surgeon?? After 5 months of dragging it out he decided that there was nothing wrong with my neck,it was my elbow causing the problems all along.....:cursing:

Hang in there, kid. The neck brace is the worst part. It gets old pretty quick. But I know you'll do fine.
