Hi Everyone. It is so nice to see a site that is so well rounded. I came across this site awhile back and thought it was great....lol... remembered it, and came back and joined. We live in the foothills of the Rockies, so we end up making many day trips into the hills as well as days at a time...lol. Don't think I could live without my mountains and rivers, etc. This seems to be becoming a lost art and I found it very refreshing to see this site and look forward to alot of use.:)

Hi Catfish....... Thanks for the welcome. It doesn't matter what end of the rockies we get. The whole mountain range is beautful. My ideal place to live would be in the middle of the mountains, in a log cabin and a clear running river near by. lol... and of course you'd only be able to get to by horse, foot and now a days probably a quad........lol.. and that is the goal we are trying to work on.

May prevent me from refering to you as Banana, that took a couple of minutes. Welcome aboard, be sure to get acquainted with BruceZed, he's close to your neck of the woods.

Hi bawana. Trapper here. Just signed up today. I used to live and work in the foothills around Turner Valley AB. I worked horses , and really got to see a lot of wild country. I really miss it.
