This is how I make the release knots on my paracord rock slings, and how I make the end stopper knots with gutted cord on my PSK knife lanyards. It is a single strand turks head. Easy, but way cooler than an overhand knot!

Sorry for substandard video quality and music rather than explanation; I did this in a couple minutes with the phone to get it up for someone; then I was yelling back and forth to my wife which ruined the audio. I used youtube to quickly dub over some music. Anyway I hope you find this useful.
