Well made, but very, very, very HEAVY. 7 pounds & 2 oz. That sums it up. This is NOT a recreational hiker backpack. This is a heavy-duty, built for rough use pack. It has lots of Molle receiver thingies, for add-on molle gear.

Now the removable lid is large and converts to a fanny-pack. Nice feature.

4000 c.i. and heavy is all that you need to know.

That’s a nice looking backpack. My experience with heavy usually means that it’s tuff. Seems to me that most packs today are designed for open terrain and get hung up on everything when you travel cross country.
