Hello everybody, my name is Mike. I live in a small town NE California approx. 80mi North of Reno NV. Recently moved up here for work. I have a strong interest in the outdoors and everything it offers. I was raised to love the outdoors by my grandfather, going camping and fishing. Now that I have a family of my own I want to carry on some of my experience (which I will admit is limited). I am interested in expanding my knowledge in survival and passing it on to my boys. I plan to read as much as I can on this site and look forward to putting my newly learned skills to the test.
