Has anyone here ever gone on a Survival Trip?
If so.
(1) For how long?
(2) What gear did you have with you?
Been on a few small trips in the mountains across the street and in the Chat. Nat'l forest. 3 / 4 days, pack in in pre 1840's gear. Set up camp, eat what you kill. Be surprised what tastes good when you're hungry.
Spent a week in the Panama Jungle, oh did I mention, I hate the jungle.
Few rock packages and LRRP's in Northern Ca. mountains. Again, c-rats get old and amazing what else you can find and cook to "enhance" mealtime. One squad did get dis., oh they were nasty. Moral of the story, even up in the beautiful mountains, boil your water for 10 min. before drinking it.
11 days in deciduous forest small knife multi-tool
