so the wife says she needs a book shelf built around the computer for all her wildlife rehab research and stuff, so i says sure thing kid i'm on it so then when i am done she says to bring my books in and we'll put them on the shelf also.

well
over 100 books later and thats just on wild edibles mushrooms survival fishing hunting and map and compass she's giving me the look, yeah i know too much money the last couple of years, but now how am i supposed to sneak in new ones when there not all over the place now.

wow, that sucks. I suppose you could "accidentally" find 20 books that you "forgot about all these years in the basement" (even thought it would say they were printed only a couple weeks ago :p )

Build a book shelf for yourself. Then when she says something about new books tell her "Honey you (took)stole all my books and I needed something for on my book shelf".

Turn it around on her. It is all her fault you need more books!

she's really good with my passion of wilderness skills leaves me alone on the money i spend on gear and courses, she spends allot more than that on her wildlife rehabilitaton so we both have our passions
