umm.. i am having trouble shaping the backs of my arrow heads. and also thining and sharpening my fat edges on the sides of the arrow. i have a fork a knife a nail and a copper rod rounded on the tip about the width of a skinny pencil. the rocks are very stoney opposed to glassy. and sometimes i lack the strength to bust off big chunks to thin them also its hard to get a grip o the edges. i usually end up rounding them off with my weak attempts then i have nothing to grip

Good looking points for a beginner.

Are you abrasing before you pressure flake? take a soft rock or heavy duty sandpaper and run it over the edges that you are going to knapp, try to use the copper rod, file it down to a good point.

I use a little piece of wood, I hold the arrowhead tight on the wood and then pressure flake. Thinning will come with more work.

Good Luck.
