Do we have one?

I'd like one as my rambling use of the english language is better suited to chat then posts.

We do not have a chat room. A while back, when some folks were talking about one, Rick started a few Social Groups where if you want to go hang out and banter back and forth without being on the forum you can. One of them is titled Chit Chat http://www.wilderness-survival.net/forums/group.php?discussionid=5&do=discuss There's one titled Gun Chat, Knife Chat, etc.

Nope. Seems that most of the chat goes on in the main forum.

I think if there was a chat it would probably help to clear the forum of unnecessary posts. Well, in theory it should.

I think that part of the lack of use of the chat is that people don't know its there.

But then what's the General Chat for?

Topics that do not fit into other categories, not general chitchat. But I try not to use the forum as a chat.
