Greetings all, As i'm new i thought it was appropriate to say hi. I'm ex NZ Army and have been mad keen on bush and coastal survival for 30 odd years. I was tickled pink to find this website and forum . Up until now i thought i must be the only one who thought it was natural to wander around the bush practicing emergency shelters, trapping animals, starting fires and generally improvising and utelising the natural things around me to my advantage.
Please excuse my ignorance of Northern Hemisphere terms and sayings.
I look forward to maybe putting a Southern hemisphere slant on things,

Hi nice to see you found us. You sound like you have a lot of good experiences. Theres lots of us who love spending time in the wild and practicing that art so your definitely not alone. I think you’ll have fun here. :D
