View Full Version : Glacier Gel Blister Bandage
New for 2008 is a 30% water dressing for blisters. It's from Adventure Medical and they are supposed to be showcasing the product at the 2008 Outdoor Retail Product Show in Las Vegas later this month. The bandages are suppose to be waterproof, breathable, clear bandages that let you monitor the blister without removing the bandage. There are supposed to be 6 bandages in each package and each bandage will last up to four days.

I'll have to look into this one, if it's as good as you say, it would be a good product for fire season and running the hills... :)
I checked their site and didn't see it posted yet. However, a couple of other products that are new and in the trade show are already posted. The Arctic Gel should be on their site shortly, I would think. The trade show is the last of the month 23rd-26th. I don't know what the price is yet but if it's tolerable I think I'll buy some just to see what it is.
What I gave in the first post is the basic write up on the product.
Just an update on this product. I contact Adventure Medical to find out the status of the GlacierGel blister pak. Here is their response:
"That product is just becoming available, we’ll start shipping to retailers in the next week or two. Look for it on or around Feb. 15 on our website."
there is a product out called Spyroflex or something similar. I have it in my bag, when I get up to grab a new bag of chi.... er check on fire. I'll post the correct name.

Do they make blister pads for butt'blisters. It has beem -18 to -24 below for last week and is forcasted for the next week, to cold to snowshoe, can barely walk the 1/2 round trip to the mail box. So some Kester'pads, and find cabin fever medacine.
