My second hand store finds

I had some extra change and time yesterday so i went second hand shopping. As well as to my local libraries book sale.
I found a jansport internal frame backpack and a one man tent two cast iron skillits a marble axe head and a very nice old old old butcher knife .
Then I lucked out at the book sale. It was load a box of books for 5 bucks and there were a bunch of plant , garden, and outdoor related books.
Not a bad haul for 12.75 total.
I need to clean up the skillets there a little rusty, and i need to replace the water bladder on the pack, but other than that everything is in usable condition

I brought home a bunch of stuff from my MIL's house, although the disposition of a lot of it is up in the air at this point.
I wasn't gonna let a lot of rendezvous stuff go for pennies, (sorry guys).
Her house is going up for sale end of the month, so we are cleaning...............

I recently picked up a kids dome tent for $5. The tent is trash, but the poles I got with it are great! Just what I need to make modified poles for my 2-man bivvy tent, to get the overall width of the folded poles down to 18".

I do love a bargain. Great score. Cast iron can be brought back to life over and over again. Great stuff. Love the Marbles axe head, too.

sgtdraino - You'd be hard pressed to find just one set of poles for that price. Good score.
