Neighbor gave me a diy mag to look at today. Full of great tool and project ideas but the thing that I saw that really got my attention was an addy for a knife. Have you all ever heard of the swiss army giant? Says it includes all 87 implements available on a swiss army knife and the cost is only $1000. Like the man said that was talking about it, how could you hold on to this monster and use it at the same time? Talk about a knife for any and all situations.

Looked to see if I could find more info. Found that it weighs 2 pounds. Also the 87 implements handle 141 tasks and it's 8 3/4" across. It is still red hwever.

This is as wide as most of the knives I make are long!! LOL. I guess it would be the grand daddy of your SAK collection, if you collect them.

It's too idiotic to be real.
How's one supposed to say, file their nails or open a can?
You can't even hold the thing let alone use it.

One could probably use it as a doorstop. Or wire it for a lamp.
But use a Phillips? I'd like to see you do it.

Sounds like the Old Chief in the flick "Outlaw Josey Wales"....(a favorite movie).
Going thru his meager possessions, and says" This is a piece of Rock candy, not for eating, just for looking thru....", or words to that effect.

I wonder.....Honey, I think I will be needing on of these...........
