Still cleaning and hauling stuff from MIL house......

Came accross this, I think it's a top to a cream seperator, but missing a jar.

Any ideas?

butter churn and fits on a square 1 gallon jar.

Yup, it's a butter churn. If you're lucky it may well fit onto a a large canning jar. Sterilise it and presto! You have a churn to use or sell.

Thanks guy/gals, seems I have another "treasure" to add to the use-able antiques, after I find a jar of course, at "The Place".

So, OK, went looking for a jar for this thing today, went to an "antique mall", but it must have been a "Chicago", antique mall, definitely "city people" prices, LOL.
These "American Pickers" are really screwing up pricing..............

Odd size 4-3/4 opening, square, 1 gal.
Let me know if anyone comes across something like that..........

I'll keep an eye out for one at the flea markets.
