I got to looking at a few photos of me and realized that besides putting on a few pounds, my looks haven't changed much.

Hope the next 7 years follows the same trend.

They always do. Then one day you wake and and find your dad looking back at you from the mirror.

So far so good.
The real transformation starts much later.
Pick an idol (say Clint Eastwood or Sean Connery) and try to emulate them. And whatever you do, keep the weight down. That's the secret. You can be old and wrinkled, but if you're in shape, you transcend age.

Actually I shaved off my beard this morning to take the last pic. LOL The wife and I took pics of each other in uniform for this years Christmas Cards.

Force Protection started as a Civil Engineering thing but Security Forces took it over. We were responsible for TCN's (Third Country Nationals) making sure they didn't wonder off or get intel. Also we worked side by side with SF in Base security, convoy security etc.

I can't help but say it, you have a baby face and it grows more pronounced as you were aging. I'm guessing from the weight gain. But like you said, not a day over 23.
