In a moment of marginal Insanity, I ordered a "ISULA" Knife from ESEE Knives (formerly: RAT Cutlery). Yes, I felt like a naughty juvenile. Nothing like a 64 year old man with a dwarf machete around his neck. Well, at least I'll always have a spare shoelace, if needed........:)

Maybe it's the age....LOL, I had just purchased a couple of more blades myself......including a cool little Budk neck knife.

Man, this interweb thing sure makes it easy.....add to cart...so why not?

It sure is "Light" and sharp. Hope I do not acquire accidental heart surgery. Don't tell anyone but I like it, so light I forget it is there.

I can't believe the awesome job of putting rope on the handle that happened while I had some rope in one hand and the knife in the other. It is a modification of the most exciting knot that I learned in Boy Scouts, The Hangman's Noose............:innocent::innocent:

I have had my Izula for over a year now and I thoroughly enjoy it. I EDC it and you will forget it's there.

I ended up buying my groomsmen one each, everyone needs a good knife.

The only issue I have is that I suck at sharpening...
