I have built a bunch of knives using this 4" Solingen "ripper" blade. These are damn near perfect user blades.

You have a lot of talent. Those are keepers one and all. You might not know what you were thinking with the one but I like it and I REALLY like the one above it. Great set of knives.

Pic #6?

Thanks Camp and Rick.

I like a bit of primitive. If people don't use them, it's pointless. Excepting obvious art knives.

You mention Solingen "ripper" blade.
Now, I've grown up thinking that "Solingen" anything (made in Solingen, Germany) is the cat's miaw. In fact, I still have my grandmother's cuticle scissors (50 yrs. old) that hold their edge and are better than anything else I've ever used.

Tell me about this Solingen blade. Is there any connection to the actual place?

Yes, they are blades made in Solingen. I buy mine from Crazy Crow trading post.

I have no affiliation with CCTP other than being a happy customer of theirs.

Very Nice, I like the "Term" Bush Tool, and wish there was more outside the box thinking about bush tools.
