Great pics. Pond Apple was a new one on me. I had to look that up. Why am I not surprised that alligators will eat them? One more item on an ever growing list!

South Florida. These pics were taken in Corbett WMA while scouting for archery season that starts on public land in two weeks. J.W. Corbett is just east of Lake Okeechobee in Palm Beach County.

We just follow game trails. They disappear when the grass does. But, you can still see them through the water.
