Well here is a small neck knife that after some feedback I came up with. Down here folks still use bottle openers since alot of folks sell Mexican, sodas, mineral water and beers here. I am not sure whether to add black g10 handles, or just use thicker stock. I left the heat treat scale and etched it as well to retard the staining/rusting a bit on the tang. I really like small fixed blades with bottle openers for some reason. Thanks for looking.

Here are the specs.

Handmade and hand ground from 1/8" steel by me
Length - 6" over all
Blade - 2 1/8"
Steel - High Carbon 1084
Hardness- 59-60rc
Sheath - Kydex Neck Sheath( I will make it and post pics when I get it done.)

I like it. Great BBQ knife, just the ticket for stealing stuff off the grill. Cool looking sheath.

Iheat up the kydex and put it into a home made press then use a heat gun to refine the shape after grinding off the ecess material. Here is a thread where the press is.

Did you put the arc in the steel before making the shape, or is the arc shape ground from a straight piece?
