they were my dad's from when he was in highschool. they're really in pretty good condition. i had to clean and sharpen both the knife and the ax cause they were pretty dull and dirty. it has a stamp on it that says made in USA so that also makes it pretty cool lol. what do you guys think?

i think its western. does that sound right? ive never i heard of a knife company by that name but the stamp on the knife blade says "western" and then right below that it says "USA"

They were made in Colorado, sadly out of buiness. like 2007.

I have owned several pieces of Western Cutlery. I always considered it good gear. Rugged stuff that would not let you down.

I agree. They rank right up there with the old Marbles, Ka-bar, and Camillus IMO.
