Ok I know this is kind of lame thread but hey this is General Chat right?
For Christmas i asked for the Rangers Handbook

I think they're both the same, but the 2nd one is an "e-book" that you down-load. Only thing I see wrong with that is that you won't be able to take it into the field with you. Is the 1st book the same as this one?:confused:

Hey Proud, the Ranger Handbook was updated last year (2006). You are linked to the 2000 version. click here and then on Ranger Handbook and you can save it as a .pdf file. I hope you have high speed internet because the file is 7.35 Mb. Otherwise, you are going to be downloading for a while.

I couldn't find it on their site. If they sell it, I'm sure it's the newer version but Proud can download it free. Just about all the manuals are free.

Here are a slug that can be downloaded:

A lot of places are selling these manuals and if you google around a bit you can usually download a good many of them for free.

Hey Thanks Rick and Sarge. I think im goin to buy it though so i can have a hard copy that i can take around with me, but I did download it so i am goin to read it in the mean time.
