I just found this article and the autopsey came back that she was indeed killed by a wolfpack. Just goes to show you that crazy things happen. I wouldn't have believed it myself. I have worked around wild animals most of my life and I have hunted for over 25 years and I'm a bit surprised by the behavior. Just goes to show, be prepared!
It has been well documented that wolves will kill for sport.
