i dont think i would put that kind of friction on my hunting bow's string, also, a good hunting bow should have a string too taut to allow it to be looped for a firebow

I have used a fire bow and they work fast if you know how to do it, flintstriker is easier to me, and no you couldn't use it to hunt not enough tension.

Using a fire bow is my favorite method

To answer the original question NO i do not reccomend this

A fire bow is supposed to be strong and rigid, so that it does not bend

using a fire bow is easy after you get enough practice.

Depending on the variables it could be one heck of a workout as well.... but the payoff is great, you get this whole feeling of major accomplishment the first time you succeed...along with a release of adrenalene
