Man, everything about that story is just ..sad.

I think the saddest is that his own familiy did almost nothing to protect him:

"Warren said his son had tried to commit suicide in the past. He said Daniel was smart, sensitive, but frustrated the world wasn’t a better place."

It is a shame, but the family were the ones that would have been best able to stop or avert this.

Curious why the police refused to show reporters the pepper spray canister compared to a fire extinguisher,, This Was a very stupid mistake if you ask me and NOTHING should be the same color as a fire extinguisher,, IMHO,

A related note: When departments start using Tasers, they have to switch out all their pepper spray for a non-flammible kind. Imagine the alternative!
