Bows are hard enough to make but you only do it once you hope . But arrows you have to make them all the time so does anyone have any short cuts on this one for us .. This one reason I like the flat self bow over the lone bow when out liven off the land.. The flat bow seems ,to me ,to be not so particular about what whit of arrow you use and far more forgiving then some other bows. . Arrows any short cuts on making them ????

I use river Cains and I cut willows in the winter so that in the spring the new cains come up straiter.. Do you do any different any other ideas??

I use Cattails. I strip the leaves from the stalks, then split the end and add a foot of hard wood. I then fasten my arrowhead to the footed shaft. Each arrow takes about ten to fifteen minutes from start to finish.
