View Full Version : new cheap flashlight

I was in an Oreilly's Auto parts store the other day and saw this flashlight so I thought I'd give it a try. It's the kind of cheap plastic light you'd keep near your bed or under the sink. I paid $9.99 but you can get it at the link for $7(Sorry, no pics).

I picked it up as an extra light to put it in my truck storage box and wasn't really expecting much; I was just wanting to replace the crappy one I had before. It has 3 led's and a magnifying lens/cover and runs off of 2 D-cell batteries. It is amazingly bright and puts out a very solid full-moon shaped beam. It feels sturdy in the hand too. I figure 2 D-cells will power this thing for a very long time. I'll probably get a few more of these to have around the house.
