solar still covering

Some say a black plastic sheet is best for a solar still and a black bag for the transpiration method of collecting water from leaves still on the tree. They say black absorbs heat better.

Others say clear plastic is best as the suns rays warm up the air inside the bag/still in the same way that your car gets hot with the windows closed.

What are your views?

corndog I am going with clear for the reason that I can see that every thing is ok even though I think black would heat things up better.

I have made them, only with clear. I suspect clear is the better because you get the greenhouse effect you are seeking
