Well guys I made a little drop point out of some 1080 steel. It is about 7" in length and the handles are made from mesquite. I place the handles to make it look like a folder but I don't think I got the desired result. Anyways here are the pics.

A 3/8 inch round file and a equal or slightly smaller triangle file is what I use to do this file work. Thanks guys!

Frank, have you tried chain saw files, various sizes and if you have an adjustable guide for them you can do almost
any design. Still need the 3 cornered file but you would be surprised what you can get using them and a guide. The vine & arrowhead work on most anything but your vine work looks great. I forgot chain files only cut on the
forward stroke, seems to give me more control and faster cutting. Just a thought.
