I'm not sure what to think of this.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

It's good to have a plan.

I find that he can increase taxes without opposition a frightening situation. I'm not sure I would want to finance his "War Wagon". The only thing that separates Bossier City from Shreveport is the Red River. Sounds like a repeat of the thing in New Orleans with folks trying to cross the Mississippi River after Katrina.

I suppose this will become the norm when TSHTF.

Hmmm don't really know how to think about this. On the one hand, it sounds a bit extreme and as Pal said scary. On the other, a plan is good. I suppose it depends on how far these measures will go and to what end. If it's as it says to protect essential services and supplies, well OK, as long as the services and supplies are distributed to ALL citizens. What would concern me is that this could rapidly become a private army controlling the citizens by having all the goodies, or worse providing for the elite at the expense of others. I can see the sense in this plan, I'd just be a bit worried that one group, regardless of who, has such control. That's a lot of power to have in one pair of hands. Having said all that.... I think we all know the chaos that would ensue after an event. So the question would be do you want the chaos controlled or not? And then I think to myself who would be the first under fire from the people for not crontrolling the situation. Difficult one.
Just rambling, I really don't know what to think.

He sounds like a kid telling everyone what he would do if there was a fight going on.

    - "If I was there, I would have jumped on the top of my car with a .5 cal bolted to it and been all "chachachachachachachacha!!!!!" and everybody else woulda been like, "Oh No! We want water! Please NO!" It would have been totally sweet, I'm the man."

IMO, it's unwise to go around bolting .5 caliber machine guns to your cars. This does not mean I don't support concealed weapons and the like. It's the difference between carrying a pocket knife in your pocket and walking around with a rambo knife between your teeth.

IMHO, he is organizing a militia without authority. That is a bit too far out.
